My Name is Bruce Hovland, founder of the Home Improvement Source. We have been serving the Bay Area since 2001. I have owned and operated several service related businesses in my career and know the importance of customer service. We have developed a remodeling process second to none. We provide excellent support using quality products with competitive pricing and the best turnaround time. My name is Jason Avery, I have proudly worked with the Home Improvement Source for 8 years. I coordinate with you, the crews, our office, and other related contractors to enusre productive and efficient scheduling of the project, and that you are satified with the end result.

I will meet with you before we start your project, to make sure the plan and materials it requires are in order, and then again to verify all measurements and details of your cabinet plan, and finally at the end of the project, to review a final punchlist for a quick and accurate closure. In the meantime, you will be receiving emails from me every day, confirming the work status and quality reported by our crews, and to keep you apprised of our schedule for your job.

I am originally from Indiana, but have lived in the Tampa Bay area for most of my life. My wife and 3 kids are all Florida natives. They are all very supportive of me, as I work an average of 60 long hours per week driving between the factory and work sites to make sure all of our customers are satisfied every day. My name is Ed Gleason, I’ve been working with the Home Improvement Source for 6 years. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from Quincy College with degrees in Psychology, Music and Business. I worked for IBM for 15 years, honing my marketing and organizational skills, and earned a Masters Degree from DePaul University during that time. Having moved 13 times in those 15 years, I have had the opportunity to design and build 4 houses from scratch. In this process, I found a passion for the construction industry. 20 years later, My partner Bruce and I are going stronger than ever and Sharing our experience and expertise with our clients all over the Tampa Bay area. My name is Andrew, I’ve been on the Home Improvement Source team for 7 years, and I’m here to help you decide on all the little details you will need to choose for your project, such as cabinet color, tile, faucet and knob selections. I order, recieve and confirm all the pieces as they arrive, and make sure everything is available when needed.

I’ve lived in Tampa Bay all my life, and come from a career background that has always focused highly on customer service, so naturally it’s of the utmost importance to me. My name is Danita Kantaskas, and you’ll probably talk to me any time you call the office at the factory, I’ve been with the Home Improvement Source for 7 years. I’m committed to helping you throughout your project, you can call me anytime to check on any details, or if you need assistance in reaching someone. Although you pick out all your colors and products up at the showroom, here in the factory we double check that you are getting everything you want and that there aren’t any issues with your selections.

I also schedule all permits and inspections for you, talking to the right people to ensure your job never loses momentum. I’m the shop foreman, David Alonso. From cabinets to doors to countertops, I’m in charge of making sure it gets done and it gets done right. I am highly experienced in all fields of interior and exterior remodeling, and have been with the Home Improvement Source for 6 years. I am a perfectionist! If there is a flaw in a peice we are working on for you, or the stain colors aren’t perfectly matched to your specifications, I’ll have it straightened out so you have peace of mind.
